'Singing the Lord's Song in a Foreign Land'

     Explaining the Book of Daniel

My name is Bryan Roberts and I am the pastor at Chapel Car Bible Church. I graduated from Denver Seminary in May 2012, with a Masters of Divinity, with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling. In September 2012 I was hired as the pastor of Chapel Car Bible Church.

As a pastor, I believe in the God inspired, without error (inerrant) Word of God, meaning that what the Bible says is what God spoke. As such I preach verse by verse (expositionally) through Scripture, allowing Scripture to set the topic of the sermon. I believe in the power of God to transform the lives of sinful humans, thus I preach the Gospel of God’s love and redemption through Christ, and Him crucified and resurrected for the salvation of all who believe. I believe in the power of prayer, that God both answers the prayers of His children, and aligns human wills and desires to His.

My wife, Shauna, and I, both Colorado natives (which I now know are known as “greenies” in Wyoming), moved to Rawlins, with our two boys: Heyden and Peyten. Since moving to Rawlins we have relaxed into small town life, getting involved in the community in various places. I am bi-vocational, working throughout the week as a driver for UPS, while Shauna has a part-time job as a bookkeeper for a local business. Our boys have settled into school, sports and music. Since moving to Rawlins we have adopted two dogs named Baby and Gabie.

As a new pastor God has blessed me and my family through the loving care of the Chapel Car Bible Church community. I want to invite all to come and experience the same love and the same care with which we were welcomed.
